PRIVACY POLICY FOR PANDA TASK MANAGER

1. DATA COLLECTION
Panda Task Manager does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data remains on your local device.

2. DATA STORAGE
All task information (titles, descriptions, priorities, due dates, tags, and source URLs) is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's local storage API. This data never leaves your device.

3. DATA USAGE
The extension uses your task data solely for:
- Displaying tasks in the side panel
- Sending local browser notifications for reminders
- Filtering and searching tasks
- Managing task status and priorities

4. PERMISSIONS USAGE

contextMenus: Used to add right-click menu options for quick task creation from selected text.

storage: Used to save and retrieve your tasks locally in the browser.

notifications: Used to send browser notifications for task reminders (overdue and upcoming deadlines).

alarms: Used to periodically check for task deadlines every 15 minutes.

sidePanel: Used to display the task management interface in Chrome's side panel.

5. THIRD-PARTY ACCESS
No third-party services have access to your data. The extension does not communicate with any external servers or APIs.

6. DATA SHARING
We do NOT share, sell, or transmit your data to any third parties.

7. DATA SECURITY
Your task data is stored locally on your device and is protected by your browser's security measures. We recommend keeping your browser updated for optimal security.

8. DATA DELETION
You can delete your tasks at any time using the delete button in the extension. To completely remove all data, uninstall the extension or clear your browser's local storage.

9. COOKIES
This extension does not use cookies.

10. CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY
Any changes to this privacy policy will be reflected in extension updates with a new "Last Updated" date.
